We starting by mirroring the façade of the house and created a very formal garden on three levels. A large terrace with dining / entertaining space descends to an attractive gallery overlooking the lower area with a rill that runs the width of the garden.

The lower area is mainly laid to lawn with a secret passageway through the back of an informal seating area, under a pergola where a children's play area with sunken trampoline and a utility area housing a shed and two compost bins are hidden.

Lush evergreens make up the majority of the planting, trees and hedging along the borders screen the garden from the neighbours and create privacy and a sense of enclosure.
